We've finished our first month in KG1. The children are doing great, and we are continuing to learn all about healthy habits and keeping our bodies healthy. This week we created our own restaurant in the class - the KG1B Healthy food restaurant. We designed menus for this restaurant, and hunted for healthy foods around our classroom to play with. We also showed each other what healthy foods we eat in the canteen. We also played with KG2B during play time.

We had a fantastic time this week learning all about healthy and unhealthy foods. Some parents kindly sent in lots of fruit and vegetables to be shared among the children, and the children loved talking about their favourite types of fruit and vegetables. The children also began getting into good habits with healthy lunches. We did some exercises to make sure we were having a balance between work and play. Have a look at some of our pictures from this week below :)
Dear parents, please be reminded that lunches in school should be kept healthy. Treats like chips, chocolate, donuts, etc., should be kept at home. 'Treat' items in lunchboxes will be returned home from tomorrow onwards, as we try to encourage the children to eat a balanced diet and have treats in moderation. Thanking you in advance :)
We had a really busy week this week and spent a lot of time exploring our new school and classroom. We hope you can see the fun we had from all our pictures. All the new boys and girls are well settled into our routines and are enjoying getting to know each other and making new friends.
Yesterday (Monday) was KG1B's first day at school. Most (!) of the children arrived to school with a smile, ready for the school year. Have a look through the gallery below to see what we got up to on our first two days at school! :)
