We spent a lot of time this week sorting animals, plants, objects and people into 'living' and 'non-living', and deciding why we thought this was so. The children hunted around the classroom for living and non-living objects, placing them in the correct set. We also discussed what living things need - food, water, air, and whether they move or grow.

This week we celebrated 'kindness week', where the children had fun making an extra effort to be kind and caring to others. Grade 3B visited our class on Tuesday morning to read stories to the boys and girls in KG1B. The children also had fun making cards and artwork during play time. A big 'welcome back' to all the boys and girls in KG 1B after the winter break. Here's a few pictures to show how well we've settled back into KG life! |
