We spent a lot of time this week sorting animals, plants, objects and people into 'living' and 'non-living', and deciding why we thought this was so. The children hunted around the classroom for living and non-living objects, placing them in the correct set. We also discussed what living things need - food, water, air, and whether they move or grow.

AuthorSinead graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Education, from St. Patrick's College in Dublin, and has been teaching in her home county of County Louth since then.
